Avant and Varenna Mark First Collaboration with Heritage Brand
| Las Vegas, NV - August 22, 2024 | In a premier collaboration with storied furniture brand, Walters Wicker, Woogmaster Studio debuts the Avant and Varenna furniture collections for outdoor and indoor spaces. The award winning design firm, led by Alex Woogmaster, took inspiration from the Italian coastline to create a comprehensive range of seating and table configurations. The fully upholstered Varenna series draws inspiration from Northern Italian lakeside villas, offering a modern twist on classical design to create an inviting outdoor living experience. The Avant collection features sleek and architectural frames, perfect for easy stacking and versatility.

Inspired by Northern Italian lakeside villas, the Varenna series is a contemporary take on classical form and silhouette. This collection of fully upholstered furnishings is designed to make outdoor living as gracious and inviting as the decadent retreats that influenced them. Transitional in style and in use, these pieces are a distilled approach to historic style. The Varenna collection offers a comprehensive suite of furnishings including three seat sofa, lounge chair, ottomans, dining chair, bar and counter stools, in addition to a chaise lounge chair.
Inspired by the Italian word for “Forward”, the Avant Collection is all about simplicity and functionality. This series is a highly architectural seating group with sleek frames and confident, simple silhouettes. The angles inherent to the series facilitate easy stacking, and their light frames are made for flexibility of use. The Avant stacking collection includes a chaise lounge with coordinating coffee and side tables.
Both collections may be specified in the standard black and white powder coated aluminum, as well as colorful made to order options, with upholstery from Giati Elements or Customer’s own material for the Varenna collection.
About Woogmaster Studio
Alex Woogmaster founded Las Vegas-based Woogmaster Studio in 2019 with a focus on elevated hospitality and residential projects. The namesake studio has become known for its bespoke and transportive designs which can be seen at the Bellagio and the Venetian, and numerous grand residences throughout Los Angeles and Las Vegas. For the firm’s debut East Coast project, Woogmaster and his team are carrying out the refurbishment of the lobby for a luxury branded residence high-rise on Central Park South in New York City.
Prior to opening his own growing firm, Alex led the Interiors department at Wynn Design & Development as Creative Director under his mentor, legendary designer Roger Thomas, together delivering groundbreaking and award-winning designs for Five-Star resorts worldwide. Alex and his team at Woogmaster Studio have also designed licensed lighting and furniture with multiple manufacturing partners. Alex holds a degree in Architecture from Cornell University, with a concentration in Architectural History, and couples that academic background with travel experience to formulate spaces that are classically informed, rich, timely, and emotionally impactful.
