Woogmaster Studio was commissioned to bring a refined level of comfort, indulgence, and playfulness to the central pool complex of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. A recent remodel had already changed the deck dramatically with a cool modern twist, and focus was now put into infusing it with a sense of Italian tradition and contemporary comfort.
Woogmaster Studio approached the project with photographer Slim Aarons in mind, as he photographed members of the Italian aristocracy in their hereditary villas. Their playfully flippant attitudes amidst architectural splendor inspired Woogmaster Studio’s contribution to the project as they sought to weave moments of tradition and classical detail into a pool deck whose principal focus is casual relaxation. Woogmaster Studio sought opportunities to add elegance and comfort to the complex through a careful sense of classical proportion, energized by a palette of whites, periwinkles, and contrasting navy.
