Transformative Renovations of The Bellagio in Las Vegas by Woogmaster Studio
| Las Vegas, NV - June, 2025 | This pool deck located at one of Las Vegas’ most iconic and premier hotels has been completely rethought to bring renewed lushness and nature with a distinctly Italian feel to the pool, including a lively cafe and bar, Freshly replanted gardens filled with neo-baroque shaped hedges are matched by a palette of deep and light blues, spring greens, and ivories.
The renovated Las Vegas oasis includes four large pools spread across two acres to create the ultimate place for relaxation. A splash pad is perfect for kids to play, while the upgraded and centrally located pool chairs, in-pool ledge loungers, and daybeds create the ultimate place for relaxation. To further enhance the guest experience, the property continues to contemporize with technology that provides a seamless and efficient visit, including check-in kiosks designed to reduce wait times for extended pool time.
The cafe underwent a stunning transformation, emerging as a refined yet relaxed destination that seamlessly blends classical elegance with poolside comfort. The renovation required a complete reimagining of the space, resulting in a beautifully reconfigured layout. It features a freestanding bar and lounge leading into an intimate dining area, both designed to offer an elevated culinary experience with lush garden views and a sophisticated ambiance.
The east bar, with decorative and vibrant awnings, is a destination for those renting cabanas, consisting of food and beverage credenzas, convenient charging stations, and sectionals that create a sense of home and comfortability. Residing in the cabanas are rectangular side tables nestled between chaise lounges, and decorative mirrors for convenience.
The pool deck features exquisite furnishings, many also by the project’s designer, thoughtfully curated throughout the space. Inspired by the timeless elegance of Italian garden design, the area is adorned with an array of chaises, daybeds, barstools, and lounge chairs, ensuring guests can unwind in style. Every piece seamlessly balances sophisticated aesthetics with plush comfort, creating an inviting oasis for relaxation and leisure.
The newly renovated bathrooms resemble those of a Northern Italy farmhouse – subdued, quiet, and rustic with floors consisting of mosaics and maps of various Italian destinations.
About Woogmaster Studio
Alex Woogmaster founded Las Vegas-based Woogmaster Studio in 2019 with a focus on elevated hospitality and residential projects. The namesake studio has become known for its bespoke and transportive designs which can be seen at the Bellagio and the Venetian, and numerous grand residences throughout Los Angeles and Las Vegas. For the firm’s debut East Coast project, Woogmaster and his team are carrying out the refurbishment of the lobby for a luxury branded residence high-rise on Central Park South in New York City.
Prior to opening his own growing firm, Alex led the Interiors department at Wynn Design & Development as Creative Director under his mentor, legendary designer Roger Thomas, together delivering groundbreaking and award-winning designs for Five-Star resorts worldwide. Alex and his team at Woogmaster Studio have also designed licensed lighting and furniture with multiple manufacturing partners. Alex holds a degree in Architecture from Cornell University, with a concentration in Architectural History, and couples that academic background with travel experience to formulate spaces that are classically informed, rich, timely, and emotionally impactful.
