Wolf-Gordon Promotes Michael Loughlin To Design Director

Michael Loughlin, Design Director

| New York, NY - January 26, 2021 | Wolf-Gordon is delighted to announce that long-time team member, Michael Loughlin, has been promoted to Design Director. Loughlin brings extensive experience in surface design, having worked at Wolf-Gordon for eight years as the WG Customs Lab Director and Lead Designer for wallcovering and RAMPART® wall protection. Working under the creative direction of Wolf-Gordon CCO Marybeth Shaw, Loughlin will oversee Wolf-Gordon’s in-house design of wallcovering, wall protection and upholstery textiles. 

“Michael has been a tremendous asset to our team over the past eight years, delivering excellent product design and forming solid relationships with our customers through his work in WG Customs Lab," says Wolf-Gordon CCO Marybeth Shaw. She continues, "We're so pleased to see him step into this new role and look forward to the continued growth of our in-house design team."

After graduating in 2000 with a BFA in Painting from MICA, the Maryland Institute College of Art, Loughlin worked at David Goldberg Design, a handmade wallpaper company, and at J. Josephson, a commercial wallcovering mill, creating bestselling patterns, before joining Wolf-Gordon in 2013. Building on his extensive knowledge of wallcovering and pattern engineering, Loughlin is enthusiastic about what he can accomplish in this new position.
