After the second incidence of long term remission of HIV made headlines, the disease and its impact has been at the forefront of the American psyche. Wolf-Gordon’s “Gift of Hope” couldn’t come at a better time; the program allows specifiers of the company’s products to direct a percentage of revenues to Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) by ordering with a custom number. Gift of Hope recently reached $1.8 million in donations, a milestone for DIFFA contributions.
In the twenty-plus years since its inception, Gift of Hope has consistently seen sizable donations to DIFFA, making Wolf-Gordon the organization’s largest donor. The initiative was so successful that it was used “as a model for development for Specify with Care®—now one of DIFFA's most successful, design industry fundraising programs,” says former Executive Director of DIFFA, David Sheppard. Started by Wolf-Gordon CEO, Rick Wolf, his efforts with Gift of Hope were acknowledged when he was awarded DIFFA’s “Unsung Hero Award” in 2013.
