Suomi Design Works has realized a comprehensive update of five Red Jacket Resorts locations in coastal northeastern destinations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The properties - Red Jacket Beach Resort, Blue Water Resort, Riviera Beach Resort, Green Harbor Resort, and Mountain View Resort - are beach-front resorts located in the heart of Cape Cod offering a reimagined classic Cape getaway for modern vacationers seeking private beaches, seafood and lots of fun in the sun. 

A cherished destination for travelers to Cape Cod since 1968, Red Jacket Resorts’ 2024 renovation begins the next chapter for the brand, promising a more modern and comfortable experience that will continue Red Jacket's legacy of quality, family-friendly vacation experiences. With the intention of extending a renewed sense of warmth and hospitality in redesigned public spaces, Red Jacket Resorts’ renovation is meant to create a comfort level akin to an old friend’s beach house.

Red Jacket Resorts’ renovated accommodations feature bright, modern room decor that embodies summertime joy. A range of layouts, including many with bunk beds, offer options for myriad getaways including cozy, romantic weekends away and spacious, family retreats. Complementing updated FF&E in many public areas and restaurants across the properties, Suomi Design works led the renovation of 612 guest accommodations across the properties, consisting of approximately 87 room types that range from single bay units to 4-bedroom cottages.

All guest rooms received new FF&E including seating, casegoods, decorative lighting, artwork, carpeting, wallcovering, window treatments, paint, door signage, accessories and OSE.  With newly redeveloped branding, each resort’s individual character shines through, while the Suomi Design Works team was also charged with leveraging economies of scale and maintaining a Red Jacket” branded look and feel. Hence, elements of design and selection of new FF&E incorporate some similar or same selections across the properties while maintaining a unique look and feel for each property through the individual design or selection of other elements.

All guest bathrooms received new artwork, shower curtains, wall, ceiling and floor finishes, vanities, brightware and bathroom accessories, aligned with the same intention for the guest room spaces. Interior guest room corridors received new floor finishes, paint, artwork, and decorative lighting.

Red Jacket Beach Resort (South Yarmouth, MA):

Here, it's all about joyful thrills: from boogie boarding through New England's waves to savoring luscious lobster rolls and sipping colorful drinks under a beachside tiki bar.

Riviera Beach Resort (South Yarmouth, MA):
