WOLF-GORDON BRINGS DIVERSE OFFERINGS TO NEOCON 2019
Launches VEER by Aliki van der Kruijs

| New York, NY - May 31, 2019Wolf-Gordon releases VEER by Aliki van der Kruijs, a contract upholstery collection by Dutch designer Aliki van der Kruijs, at NeoCon 2019 alongside a range of additions to its wallcovering, RAMPART™ wall protection and upholstery product lines. Their showroom façade (#10-161) will feature digital printed wallcovering by New York studio karlssonwilker inc. and interior panels that will display digital printed wallcovering of photographs by van der Kruijs that contributed to the inspiration and color palette of VEER.

VEER by Aliki van der Kruijs is a three-pattern upholstery collection that originated from the grid found on an antique kimono, suitable for corporate and hospitality applications. Van der Kruijs explored subtle manipulations of this grid motif in her designs—layering, rotating and omissions—to create the three patterns: FLOAT, TURN and SLIDE.

"Our collaboration with Aliki van der Kruijs has yielded a fresh set of geometric upholstery patterns that trace their lineage to De Stijl via an antique Japanese kimono textile that Aliki purchased in Arita. Aliki’s thoughtful 21st century conceptual approach, fueled by her own research on grids as they encounter irregularities in nature, has truly enhanced our experience of textile development."

- Marybeth Shaw, Wolf-Gordon, Chief Creative Officer

Other Wolf-Gordon introductions include Crosswalk, an upbeat addition to the company’s high-performance woven upholstery, containing solid and dotted lines that run parallel and diagonal for a lively, dimensional look. The London Chic Collection also expands with three new patterns: simple, sophisticated Westminster complements the kinetic Echo and Nouveau geometric patterns, which join from the SO GOOD Collection by Me and General Design of Brooklyn, New York. Felted, a soft acoustical material made from 95 percent post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, will also be shown, now available in a complete spectral palette of 25 fade-resistant colorways that can be laser-cut, digitally-printed, and engraved.

NeoCon 2019 will be held June 10-12 at The Mart in Chicago. Visit Wolf-Gordon’s Showroom (#10-161) on Monday, June 10th between 3 and 5:30 pm to enjoy a cocktail reception and meet Aliki van der Kruijs.
