JUNIPER | THIN FLOAT SCONCE COLLECTION
JUNIPER, a contemporary lighting design and manufacturing studio, is set to debut the THIN Float Sconce Collection. The latest addition to the celebrated THIN Collection designed in collaboration with Peter Bristol, The THIN Float Sconce adapts the popular THIN System into a single mounting point lighting solution.
The THIN Float Sconce’s original concept was requested by New York City restaurant, Misi, which needed an ultra-thin sconce to provide ambient lighting for their dining space. Made following the reductive design of JUNIPER’s collections, The THIN Float Sconce has been newly inducted into JUNIPER’s main design portfolio.
The THIN Float Sconce Collection includes the THIN Single Float, originally designed for Misi, and The THIN Retro Float, which hosts a symmetrical design with a center mounting point. In both designs, JUNIPER employs their signature ½ -inch width LED segments that rotate and lock into place, providing options for direct and indirect light. Both sconce’s brass backplates can be formatted for both local and remote power options, and dimmable light switches can be applied for commercial, hospitality, or residential installations.
Machined in solid brass and available in multiple segment lengths, The THIN Float Sconce Collection unites minimal design and precise engineering.
“The THIN Float Sconce Collection is a natural addition to our popular THIN Collection. The THIN Retro Float is especially ideal for situations where a center mounting point is necessary or preferred.”
Shant Madjarian, CEO and Founder of JUNIPER
