AIMÉE WILDER LAUNCHES NEW TILE PATTERN, FRAGMENTS
Hexagonal Tiles of Polka Dot Squares Inspired by Mosaics
| New York, NY - July 26, 2022 | Multidisciplinary artist, designer, photographer, and founder of her eponymous brand of wallpapers, tiles, and home textiles, Aimée Wilder launches her newest tile design since the debut of the Apogee Collection in 2019, Fragments. These hexagonal tiles of polka dot squares are inspired by vintage mosaic tiles, and are available in ten colorways, featuring contrasting black-and-whites like Ebony Swan, as well as neutral and fresh tones of green, turquoise, and tan.
Fragments can be arranged in a regular pattern, or the hex can be rotated 60 degrees to create a more diverse layout to suit one’s taste. It can be installed on its own or with a coordinating Solid Hex, which is available in 14 colorways. The minimal and textural feel of the collection can fit in a variety of spaces, from kitchen or bath to a tropical outdoor patio or shower.
Aimée Wilder shares, “It’s been exciting to see our tiles make their way into projects over the last few years. Fragments adds a new option in the collection that has the feel of a vintage mosaic, but on a smooth cement surface."
The tiles can be easily cleaned when sealed, and with proper installation, the cement tiles can also be used in exterior contexts, including in swimming pools.
