LIVELY WALLCOVERINGS JOIN WOLF-GORDON'S LONDON CHIC
| New York, NY - June 11, 2018 | Wolf-Gordon updates its classic London Chic Type II wallcovering collection with two charismatic patterns. The additions, like the rest of the collection, are certified to the NSF/ANSI 342 sustainability standards, and are appropriately named after two of London’s trendiest areas: Vauxhall and Dalston.
Vauxhall is a superscaled contemporary herringbone pattern with a sensual feel. The pattern uses soft lines to delicately replicate a gentle rocking motion, with a layering of colors to give a harmonious and vibrant touch. This playful design was inspired by large, dramatic curvatures in architecture, while the use of layered tones was influenced by the mixing of bold colors seen in fashion.
Dalston was created to convey warmth and sophistication in a classic visual texture. Vertical brush strokes recall the look of a canvas in the early stages of a painting, with matte and metallic inks subtly layering in this textile effect.
