| Jupiter, FL - September 18, 2018 | V Starr Interiors was selected as the company to remodel six luxury suites at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, located in Jupiter, Florida. The firm’s first work with an athletic facility was a challenging yet rewarding process that included a full redesign of the suites, which included integrating design elements for the two Major League Baseball teams that the stadium hosts annually for spring training, the St. Louis Cardinals and the recently sold Miami Marlins owned by baseball legend Derek Jeter.

The stadium’s namesake, a visionary that was one of the first mega-dealers of automobiles in the United States and a naval officer in World War II, was an inspiration to the Florida communities in which he resided, as is the iconic stadium commissioned in his honor. V Starr Interiors has a personal interest in the sphere of athletic facilities, with professional tennis player Venus Williams as its Principal and CEO, and in the area that is central to their own location.

“I’ve spent a lot of time over the years in athletic facilities, and I always imagined how I would add my own personal touch to their design,” says V Starr Interiors’ founder, Venus Williams. “I finally get to use this experience in a stadium that is close to home.”

The stadium’s two spring training home teams provided the firm with beautiful photography to decorate the walls of the suites, complemented by a neutral color palette that emphasizes the imagery and meets the needs of the various sponsors. Cort furniture supported the renovation with furnishings for the stadium’s opening day, while all of the cabinetry, tables, finishes, and flooring were custom made for the suites with the needs of its high traffic areas in mind. The balconies feature modern highball tables for a flexible game experience, where families can seamlessly eat, chat, or stand at their leisure.
