| New York, NY - July 2, 2019 | A growing collection of American-made goods are joining the impressive internationally-sourced selections at BLACKBARN shop, cafe & bar in Chelsea Market: from an array of tableware by the award-winning, New York-based designer ThomasPaul, to Artifact Bag hailing from Nebraska. Decorate for the holiday with these star-spangled favorites.

Picnic Baskets and Backpacks
A top BLACKBRN seller, these eye-catching picnic baskets and backpacks are an example of co-owner and designer Mark Zeff's ability to predict the consumer's needs, and bring innovative products to the market. Available in several convenient sizes and configurations, they include wine glasses, salt and pepper shakers, silverware, dishes, and bottle openers, in addition to temperature safe food storage pouches. Where else can you find perfectly curated dining sets securely wrapped up in a beautiful and portable set that can be easily brought along on any trip?

Artifact Totebag
A sturdy, handmade lunch tote in a classic and simple design that is made of domestically-sourced wad canvas with Horween leather trim. The manufacturer in Omaha, Nebraska, Artifact Bag, was born out of the recession when founder Chris Hughes was out of work and noticed an abandoned factory in his hometown which he bought and used to start producing handmade canvas items. Zeff discovered his story and high quality, elegantly designed American-made bags aligned with his own design vision, and brought them to the shop with a special label that makes them as a BLACKBARN exclusive.

ThomasPaul Sea Life Collection
Escape to the ocean with the Sea Life line of Melamine tableware sporting nautical themes, such as mini trays with anchors, whales, and seahorses. These trays are the perfect size to use as a soap dish or as a trinket tray to hold a treasure chest of jewels. In addition, BLACKBARN carries ThomasPaul’s embroidered pouches made with 100% flax and covered in primary-colored sea creatures.

The Mantis Desk
Mantis Desk by Mark Zeff is made with a sophisticated gray-stained, rift-cut white oak and has embossed Technogel side panels for a sleek look. Handcrafted in NYC, it has compartments for lifestyle accessories as well as an invisible front drawer to store all your top secret files.

Modern Sprout Hydroponic Sets
BLACKBARN stocks Chicago-based greenery company Modern Sprout in the newly added urban garden center, including a range of Indoor Garden Kits for herbs like basil, cilantro, and mint, and Hydroponic Sets for tea blends such as chamomile and lavender. Outfitted with a passive hydroponic system that includes a stainless steel net pot, wick, organic seeds, soilless growing medium, plant food and instructions, these kits make for an easy homegrown delight in any modern city dwelling.
